Although the Northeast has seen a particularly easy Winter we are nonetheless extremely happy to have Spring back again. Daffodils and crocuses are peeping their heads out of the ground and a few days of 70 degrees has us all antsy for the real warmth of new season to come and stay for good.
We had a wonderful time exhibiting at the American Craft Council Show in Baltimore in February. It was a great time to catch up with past clients, meet new people and make some new client friends. We also had a chance to reconnect with our fellow artisans. If you get a chance check out this website http://www.woodsilks.com/. Our good friends Barbara Woods and H. Tom Thomas are creating some wonderful lighting for today’s homes. Their newest series MidMo is a nod to mid-century design and they are just beautiful!
We will be off to Boston at the end of April to exhibit at CRAFTBoston at the Cyclorama April 29, 30 and May 1. This will be our first show in the wonderful city of Boston and we are really looking forward to it.
And then in May we will be in Reston, VA at the Northern Virginia Arts Festival on May 20, 21 and 22 for our very first outdoor show. If you weren’t able to make the Baltimore show or just find it too overwhelming in its size, come to Reston. Set in a lovely town, it will be a great way to spend a late Spring day.
