Well, not really. But when they close the roads and you work at home it’s hard to justify a snow day. It’s been snowing for about twenty-six hours now and yes we have a good amount but I think the hype of the “Epic Blizzard” was a bit of a stretch. “You know, when I was a kid. . . ”
A new year is with us and we are looking forward to lots of exciting designs coming out of the studio. Teaser: Daniel is working on a cabinet right now to debut at the American Craft Council Flagship Show in Baltimore this February. Without spoiling the unveiling let me just say this is one of the most challenging designs I have seen in a very long time.
As for the rest of us here at Troy Brook Visions, Marley is very much enjoying the snow. I believe her favorite past time is burying her head in the tallest snow bank she can find! And in anticipation of a snowy, cold evening, as I write this blog, I am baking a couple of loaves of crusty, artisan bread and have a pot of white bean, garlic and kale soup simmering on the stove.
Well I think it’s time for the next round of shoveling so off I go!
