First Day of Spring!

The first day of Spring is officially here and it looks like Mother Nature is having a little fun with us!   If it wasn’t March 20th and it hadn’t been the “Winter That Refused to End”,  the snow would have made me smile, go home after work, start a roaring fire, pour a generous glass of Pinot Noir and settle in for the evening.  But what I really want to do is scream just a little!!!   Oh well, I am going to think positively and look at this last hurrah of Father Winter as more hydration for all the plants just waiting to jump out of the ground at the first hint of warmth.

But inside it is still warm and cozy and wouldn’t y’all love to be sliding into this gorgeous bed tonight?  Daniel designed and created our new Clarke Bed and we showcased it for the first time at the American Craft Council show last month.  (Thanks for all who stopped by our booth and came out to support American craftspeople in yes – you guessed it  – yet another snowstorm!)  This beauty is crafted from flame black walnut which gives the head and foot board its beautiful movement.  The bed is on display in our gallery, so come on by and have a look.
